ELSBANYS, lighting manufacturer from Spain

Els Banys, founded in February 1988 and based in Massalavés (Valencia), started as a lighting factory focused on creating luminaires and other bathroom accessories. Initially, the small, family-run team also engaged in tasks such as painting, chroming, and bathing, with several active work chains. Over time, Els Banys decided to eliminate the production of bathroom accessories to focus exclusively on the manufacturing and development of technical lighting for indoor spaces, establishing itself as a lamp factory. Technological evolution has been constant, transitioning from incandescent bulbs to halogens, energy-saving lights, and finally LED lighting, known for its low consumption, minimal maintenance, and long lifespan. From its early years, Els Banys has forged relationships with large food retail chains such as Pryca, Continente, and Eroski. Currently, the company primarily collaborates with major DIY retailers like Bricodepot and Leroy Merlin, with these along with Ms. Bricolage being the main sales points, totaling over 400 stores. Additionally, Els Banys exports its products to countries such as Portugal, Belgium, and France. In 2012, Els Banys shifted towards innovation and design, establishing a dedicated department to create new lamps that offer unique and interesting environments. Investment in design and expansion has led the company to have facilities spanning over 7000 m², allowing it to offer more than 4000 product references. With the growing importance of the online market, Els Banys has expanded its presence through marketplaces, bringing its products to new customers worldwide. This step towards online internationalization is enabling the company to reach much broader markets.
